Christmas Season 2014!!!

Hey everyone!  It's been a while since we've posted, but that doesn't mean the TPCC youth haven't been busy.  We've had quite a bit to celebrate this Christmas season and here are a few of the highlights.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Santa for Seniors outreach.  Many gifts were collected and, as a result, four of our community's senior citizens will be greatly blessed this Christmas season.

Then we had our STOMP and ZG Christmas party where food, fun and fellowship, including our crazy gift exchange, met our outreach to the neighborhood of duplexes across the street from the church.  We sang carols and handed out Christmas cookies, copies of the candy cane story, and invites to our Christmas Eve service.

Next, we loved on the residents of the sixth floor at John Knox Village, including our own beloved Ms. Florene.  We sang to them, made Christmas ornament crafts with them, gave them stuffed animals, and gave out and were the recipients of lots of hugs and kisses.  Even Santa & Mrs. Clause made an appearance!

Last, but certainly not least, we partnered with our All Nations Church friends in Sulphur Springs to host a Christmas party for the neighborhood children there who have a parent in a correctional facility this season.  We made candy cane reindeer with them and played pin-the-nose on the reindeer and they blessed us with an awesome praise dance.  The looks on their faces as they received the presents we brought for them and the notes from their missed parents was precious and priceless!

JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  MERRY CHRISTMAS!
